Proud to share this group photo with my team together with the fantastic team of my collaborator, Dr. Silvie Huijben. Bringing together different expertise, perspectives, and approaches is what makes mosquito-borne disease ecology such an exciting field.

Each project, dataset, experiment, and discussion represents another piece of a much larger puzzle: understanding how mosquito-borne diseases emerge, spread, and how we can better control them.
